Senior PHP Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Back-end PHP (Laravel) developer with 5+ years of experience to join our fast-growing startup from Denmark.

Requirements

Must have

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development 
• Strong expertise in PHP and the Laravel framework
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, database design, and authentication/authorization flows 
• Experience with test-driven development and automated testing strategies 
• Proficient in Git and working with CI/CD pipelines 
• In-depth experience with Laravel Nova — building custom tools, actions, and resource management is a strong advantage 
• Upper-intermediate and higher level of English 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience

Will be a plus

Familiarity with Vue.js, Docker, Redis, or deployment to AWS or other cloud platforms

Together with your team, you will be responsible for: 

• Taking technical ownership of our web application built with Laravel
• Leading the maintenance, extension, and optimization of the platform, ensuring it remains scalable, secure, and user-friendly
• Using best practices in code quality, testing, and documentation 
• Ensuring the platform is secure, and performant. 
• Participating in system planning, code reviews, and feature delivery from concept to release

They focus on creating easy-to-use and smart charging solutions for EV drivers, businesses, and cities, helping everyone transition smoothly to electric vehicles. Their products are known for their quality, innovation, and user-friendly design.

Stage

This is a growing startup, founded in 2019, that is actively developing its product.

Project team

Project team (Lviv): Back-end Engineers, Security Team, and we are looking for a QA engineer. Project team (Client side): 25 people on the tech team

Work Schedule

Full-time working day in our Lviv or Kyiv office (flexible hours) or full-time remote
